Takachiho-kyo in profound atmosphere (Takachiho-kyo, Miyazaki Pref.)

Takachiho canyon was formed by rapid cooling of lava flow with river water and erosion of hundreds of millions of years. I looked down the Gokase river from the tip of the columnar jointing cliff. The mountain stream flowing along the deep valley creates the mysterious and profound atmosphere.
